Who is this Sarah?

Hello everyone! As you learned from the homepage, I am Sarah! I am currently 24, will be 25 in just a few short months. For me, turning 25 feels like a HUGE deal. My life is truly starting the next chapter, whether I am ready for it or not. So I am trying to make myself ready. I know some of you could be reading this, and saying, "Sarah. Live in the present, not the future." And I totally hear that. I do. But at the same time, I am also planning my future, and while doing that, I am working on my present too. If I want to get my photography published in the future, I need to take pictures now. Do you see what I am doing there? Haha Oh, and yes I am a photographer. That is a whole other story, and that is for sure one topic that I will talk about. But anyways, back to me! I am planning my future while working on my present. That is one reason why I am starting a blog. I'm going through a lot of life changes right now, and one thing that I have read is keep yourself busy, or you will start to focus on the negative. Lately, I am all about being positive and making positive changes in my life. That is where this blog comes in.

Some posts are going to be fun, and free willing it, like this one. Where I just type, and wherever the wind takes me, I will sorrow. You see what I did there? Wind will take me. Sorrow. You see? You don't see? The Flying Sparrow? Oh well. You get it or you don't. Anyways! So that name. I came up with that not long ago. See, one day I want to own my own inn. Like what Loreli does in Gilmore Girls. I've wanted an inn just like the Dragonfly, and honestly I wanted to name it that too, but I probably can't due to copy right laws, so I was thinking what could that would be similar to it? So I was thinking of birds. Hawks are my favorite birds, and doves are very important to me, but nothing sounded good with them. So out of no where came The Flying Sparrow, and I think that is a great blog name, maybe future inn name too. So, anyways, my articles will either be free willing writing, or some will be written out, and time will be taken to truly write out all of my thoughts.

So back to me, I have a Bachelor's degree in Science from Olivet Nazarene University. Class of 2016! Go Tigers. So even though my bachelor's is in science, I was an art major with a concentration in photography and a business minor. I miss Olivet very much, and wish I could go back and do it again. I was talking to a friend about school, and said if I could ever go back and do it all again, would I? And I said I would. There were things about school that I wasn't crazy about, but they truly help me to become the photographer that I am today. I am still learning new skills, but I learned a lot at Olivet. The only thing is I also thought that if I ever did go back, I would of maybe studied harder and I would of have gone back to studied hospitality. I am still considering to go back to school to study it now. You got to love that no matter how old you are, you can never stop learning.

There is still so much about me y'all will learn, and I think this blog will help with all of that. I don't want to give out too much just yet, but I think y'all will like what you read. At least I hope you do. I care about my readers, and if there is anything anyone wants to know, or wants me to write about, I'd love to know!
